CC Pollard scored a game-high 25 points to help host Kalaheo defeat Kailua, 56-33, for its first win of the Oahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division regular season Friday night.

Pollard, a senior forward, helped the Mustangs improve to 1-6 in league play. She also accounted for all of the team's scoring in the second quarter.

Alana Gates added 12 points with one made triple and Tati Sampson had 10 points to round out the leading scorers for the Mustangs.

Kaile De Soto and Bianca Phillips-Richardson combined for 17 points to lead the Surfriders (0-6 OIA East) in the loss.
