Kamehameha racked up 10 hits and took advantage of four errors to cruise to a 9-3 win over No. 3 Punahou, 9-3 at Central Oahu Regional Park Saturday morning.
Revan Wong batted 3 for 4 with two RBIs and two doubles and Makoa Mau added a 2 for 3 day at the plate with two runs scored and two RBI to help the sixth-ranked Warriors improve to 7-3 in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I standings. Kamehameha was coming off a 4-3 win over top-ranked Saint Louis on Thursday.
Pitcher Kaliko Banquel picked up his first win of the season after coming in for relief of Chase Miyasato in the top of the second.
Punahou (5-4) used five total pitchers in the contest. Losing pitcher Kahi Bisho gave up five hits and six runs and was chased after two and one-third inning.
Andrew Matsueda batted 1 for 3 and scored two runs for the Punahou offense.
