Host Kapolei and Pearl City played to a 1-1 tie in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division match Friday night.
Both teams were vying for second place in the league behind Mililani (7-0), but are now each 6-1-1 in OIA West play with two games remaining in the regular season.
Kapolei senior Shandon Hopeau, the West's leading scorer, notched his 18th goal of the year in the 13th minute to give Kapolei the early advantage. Pearl City senior Trenton Darley knotted things up with his second goal of the season in the 32nd minute.
The Hurricanes host Waipahu and Nanakuli to close out league play while the Chargers travel to Leilehua next before hosting Waianae in their regular season finale.
