Iolani sweeps past Maryknoll in league opener


 



Iolani took care of Maryknoll in straight sets, 25-14, 25-21, to open its ILH regular season campaign.

Senior Bailey Choy led the Raiders with 28 assists and added 5 digs and a kill for good measure. Four Raiders notched at least five kills in the match, led by Sierra Buscher with 7.

The Raiders picked up 46 digs in the victory, including three players in double digits, Ana Ogilvie (14), Buscher (12) and Moea Keakuoha (11).

Maryknoll (0-1) looks to get into the win column Saturday when they play host to Punahou at 9:30 a.m., while Iolani (1-0) travels to Mid-Pacific at 3:30 p.m., also on Saturday.
