MANOA — Michael Viola pitched a complete game four-hitter to lift Punahou to a 6-2 win over Iolani in the nightcap of an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I doubleheader at Les Murakami Stadium Friday night.
The Buffanblu (3-5) rallied from a two-run deficitwith Noah Goss leading the way at the plate with a 2-for-3 day. Easton Takamoto drove in a pair of runs and Kai Terada-Herzer scored twice.
Pikai Winchester batted 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored to lead the Raiders (2-5). Austin Jim On, one of three Iolani pitchers used in the game, allowed four runs (two unearned) on three hits in 2 2/3 innings of work and took the loss.
