Kaiser clinches East 6th seed; McKinley clinches White 4th seed

Kaiser clinched the Oahu Interscholastic Association Red East's sixth and final seed with its 39-14 win against Roosevelt Friday night.

The East's seeding order is: Farrington, Kahuku, Kailua, Moanalua, Castle and Kaiser.

Jason Khamvongsa's 56-yard field goal for Kaiser was one yard shy of the state record set in 2009 by Hilo's Christian Daog against Kamehameha.

Only the top two seeds in the West is set with Leilehua first and Campbell second. The third through sixth seeds will be determined after the Waianae at Radford game.

In the White, McKinley clinched the fourth seed with its 42-6 win against Waialua. The Tigers (4-3) has the tie-breaker against Kalani (3-4) should the teams end the regular season next week with the same record.

Kaimuki, Pearl City and Waipahu have already clinched the top three spots, though the order is still pending.
