Larry Tuileta passed for 145 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns and No. 7 Punahou rallied past Vista, 19-7, Saturday at Dick Haines Stadium in Vista, Calif.

Tuileta threw TD passes of 20 yards to Steven Lakalaka and 23 yards to Luke Morris, who shared time at QB with Tuileta the previous three games.

Punahou (3-1) trailed 7-3 before capitalizing on two fumbles. The first resulted in a 22-yard field goal by Kaimi Fairbairn to pull Punahou to 7-6. The second set up Tuileta's 20-yard TD pass to Lakalaka to put the Buffanblu ahead, 12-7 with 8:51 left in the game.

After a scoreless first quarter, Punahou took a 3-0 lead on Fairbairns's 21-yard field goal with 21 seconds left before the half.

The Panthers (0-1) scored on a 70-yard run by RB Andrew Williams to take the lead. Williams led all rushers with 98 yards on eight carries.

Lakalaka led Punahou with 77 yards rushing on 18 carries.

Vista QB Justin Shute was 7 of 19 for 62 yards. His last pass was intercepted by Quincy Marting.

Punahou returns home Monday and will open the Interscholastic League of Honolulu season at Iolani on Friday.
