Waiakea High's Kodi Medeiros was named as one of the top 10 prospects at the recent Area Code Games held in Long Beach, Calif.Medeiros, a 6-foot-1, 191-pound left-handed pitcher, was ranked fifth of the 10 prospects, according to Baseball America online. He pitched two scoreless innings at the Games, but the outing was enough to impress. His fastball, which touched 93 mph, had a run and sink on hitters, who were unable to hit the ball out of the infield, the Baseball America report said.The report added that Medeiros has yet to give a verbal commitment and is considering Pepperdine, Oregon, Arizona and UCLA,
