Punahou won the Gold bracket championship of the Ann Kang Invitational Volleyball tournament at Iolani School, defeating Huntington Beach (Ca.) in straight sets 25-15, 25-19.
The Buffanblu dropped just a single set in the entire three-day invitational, and captured the AKIVB Gold bracket title for the second straight year.
Host Iolani won the third place game in the Gold bracket over Mater Dei, 28-24, 23-25, 15-8.
