Host 'Iolani undefeated after Day 1 at AKIVB


 



'Iolani wins all three matches in Day 1 of pool play at Ann Kang, as Newport Harbor, Mater Dei, Edison and Palos Verdes also go undefeated.

Mira Costa finished Round 1 with a 2-1 mark to win Pool D.

Hawaii teams participating in the three day tournament include, Kaiser (0-3), Pearl City (0-3), Saint Francis (1-2), Moanalua (2-1), Kahuku (0-3), Mid-Pacific (2-1), Maryknoll (2-1), Farrington (1-2), Hawaii Baptist (2-1) and Radford (0-3).

Pool play continues tomorrow at 'Iolani School's Upper and Lower gymnasiums. Matches are set to run from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
