Moanalua sweeps past Waipahu, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16

East top-seed Moanalua dispatched West second-seed Waipahu in three straight sets, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16, to advance to the winners' bracket final on Thursday.

Josh Buted led Na Menehune with 14 kills, Ahren DePonte put down 8 more and Tahi Caldwell added 7.

Moanalua will face East rival Kalaheo, a 25-16, 25-19, 25-18 winner over Leilehua on Thursday.
