Kylie Maeda poured in 21 points, including four from long distance, as the Raiders overpowered Mililani, 51-34, in second round action at the Hawaiian Airlines Girls Basketball State Division I Championships.

'Iolani used a 20-6 second quarter burst to take control of the contest, heading into the locker room at intermission leading 29-12.

Saphyre Rezentes chipped in 8 ponts and Abrianna Johnson-Edwards 7 more for the Raiders, who advance to face MIL champion Lahainaluna in a 5 p.m. semifinal tomorrow night at Neal Blaisdell Center.

Kapili Amamalin led Mililani with 17 points, and Nayla Long added 9.

The Trojans were playing without leading scorer Taylor Babbitt, who was injured in the first half in last night's win over Kaimuki.
