'Iolani tops Mid-Pac, 72-51, in ILH girls season opener

Saphyre Rezentes scored a team-high 17 points last night to lead 'Iolani past visiting Mid-Pacific, 72-51, in the ILH season opener for both teams.

The Raiders led 34-20 at halftime and 51-28 after three quarters.

Megan Kinoshita poured in 21 points -- including five 3-pointers -- to keep the Owls in the contest, but they got no closer than 13 in the second half.

Kylie Maeda and Alex Masaquel each added 10 points for the Raiders.
