A first-time Iolani Classic champion will be crowned Saturday night.

Millennium (Goodyear, Ariz.) rallied past Bolingbrook (Ill.), 67-57 and Owyhee (Meridian, Id) upset nationally-ranked Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, Calif.), 53-43, in the Iolani Classic semifinals Friday night.

The Tigers, ranked No. 11 in the MaxPreps National Boys Basketball Rankings, will seek their first-ever classic title after falling short in the quarterfinal round and finished fifth in 2022.

The Storm make history as the first team from the state of Idaho to participate in the Iolani Classic and will look to bring back some hardware.

Tip off is set for 8 pm following the third place game between the Raiders and Wolverines.

Four Tigers scored in double figures led by Adan Diggs' 22 points. DJ Spencer poured in 15, Gabe Coronado went 4-for-5 from 3 to add 14 and Cameron Holmes rounded out the double digit scoring with 12.

TJ Williams led the Raiders with 16 points and hit an array of jumpers for 8 of his 16 points to give Bolingbrook a 19-10 lead after the first quarter.

Gabe Coronado buried a triple in the corner and Atanga Akah hit a pair of free throws to tie the game at 19 on a 9-0 second quarter run. Bolingbrook combined to shoot 5 for 7 from the free throw line to take a 26-21 lead going into halftime.

In the second half Millennium closed the deficit and after three lead changes, the Tigers took their first lead off Spencer's reverse layup. Bolingbrook got within five, but Coronado caught fire and drained three 3-pointers from the left corner to give the Tigers a 47-36 lead. Spencer tipped in a missed 3-point attempt by Holmes to beat the buzzer to cap a 28-point third quarter.

Diggs scored eight points in the final period and tipped in missed attempts. The Raiders got within seven three times in the fourth quarter but could not get any closer.

In the nightcap of the semifinals, determination and hustle helped Owyhee knock off 13th-ranked Harvard-Westlake.

Logan Haustveit, a Utah Valley signee, led the Storm with 15 points and was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line and Kaden Rogers added 12 off the bench.

The Storm tied up the game at 40 on Owen Brown's 3-pointer from the right wing and Hautsveit added another 3 to give the Storm the lead. Brown added a layup and Rogers hit a triple for a eight-point advantage with 3:20 left in the fourth.

Joseph Sterling, Texas signee, was the only player who scored in double figures for the Wolverines with 17 despite struggling from the field. He hit his fourth 3-pointer to trail 48-43, but could not get any closer as Owyhee closed out Harvard-Westlake by knocking down 5 of their 6 free throws.

Owyhee led 23-20 at halftime and held a early five-point lead before Pierce Thompson nailed a 3-pointer. Sterling hit a jumper and Amir Jones added a layup to tie the game at 31. Rogers converted a bucket from the right block off an assist from Jordan Allen. Sterling curled to hit a 3-pointer to beat the buzzer for a 34-33 lead going into the fourth.

Harvard-Westlake averaged 85 points in its first two Classic games and won by an average of 45.5 ppg.

Owyhee made 12 of their 14 free throw attempts while Sterling was the only player on Harvard-Westlake to attempt free throws.
