UNLV handed Hawaii its third conference loss, 38-10, taking the Rainbow Warriors out of race for a Mountain West title.

Anthony Colandrea threw for 253 yards and three scores and Jai'Den Thomas ran for 110 yards and added a rushing score, as the Rebels balanced offensive output of 470 total yards (253 passing, 217 rushing) nearly doubled that of the Rainbow Warriors, who managed just 231 in total.

Hawaii led 7-3 in the contest with 8:16 in the first, when Micah Alejado connected with Jackson Harris on a 70 yard pitch and catch, but UNLV took back the lead for good five minutes of game clock later, when Colandrea hooked up with Jaden Bradley for an eight yard score.

The Rebels added two more scores in the second quarter, one on Colandrea's second scoring toss for 72 yards to Taeshaun Lyons and the other a 14 yard run by Keyvone Lee, before Kansei Matsuzawa knocked through a 45 yard fields with five ticks left until halftime to make it 24-10.

Neither team scored in the third, and UNLV made it all but academic with two more scores to open the fourth, Colandrea's third TD toss at the 14:55 mark and JoJo Earle's 27 yard scoring scamper with 12:49 left.

Alejado completed 15 of 24 passes for just 163 yards, marking the lowest output for him since throwing fro just 157 on Aug. 30 against Arizona.
