Brock Jones | SLTwelve student-athletes from 10 different schools were honored at the annual Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor awards dinner Sunday night at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel.
Seven boys and five girls were inducted as part of the HHSAA's 43rd Hall of Honor class, which saw four leagues represented.
The induction class, in alphabetical order, is as follows:
• Kaimana Carvalho, Kahuku (football, track & field, boys volleyball)
• Saxoni Frank, Radford (cheerleading)
• Ellana Klemp, Hanalani (girls basketball)
• Mikah Labuanan, Kamehameha-Maui (boys wrestling)
• Titan Lacaden, Saint Louis (football)
• Tyler Loree, Seabury Hall (boys golf)
• Sage Miller, Iolani (girls swimming)
• Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, Campbell (football, boys basketball)
• Xeyana Salanoa, Punahou (girls soccer)
• Pupualii Sepulona, Saint Louis (football, boys basketball, boys volleyball, track & field)
• Tyger Taam, Moanalua (boys wrestling, boys judo)
• Kainoa Wade, Kamehameha (boys volleyball, boys basketball)
The group was chosen a 14-person selection committee made up of current and former sports reporters, coaches and athletics directors. Each individual will receive a $2,000 scholarship courtesy of Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
