It wasn't necessarily a must-win for the Jr. Bows, but in the ILH's tough Division I, every game might as well be.

University Lab overcame a seven point halftime deficit, outscoring Mid-Pacific 45-21 in the final two quarters in a 66-49 road win.

Nearly al five starters for the Jr. Bows hit double digits, led by Alika Ahu's 19 and Trey Ambrozich's 16. Koa Laboy had 12 points and Todd McKinney added 11, while Kenna Quitan came up a bucket short of double digits with 8. The Jr. Bows' first five hit 20-of-24 free throws and accounted for the entire game's point total.

The third quarter saw the Jr. Bows make its move, using a 17-5 scoring advantage to take a 38-33 lead, and the fourth saw University Lab pull away, scoring 28 points in the final period, led by Ahu's eight.

Mid-Pacific's duo ofLogan Mason and Darius Chizer had 17 and 15 points respectively to lead the home team, and Riley Miura added 10. The Owls hit seven threes compared to just two for the Jr. Bows, but only knocked down 6 of 11 from the charity stripe.

With the win, University Lab improved to 2-2 in league play, while Mid-Pacific fell to 1-3.
