Hawaii Baptist rolls past Damien to post fifth win in league play

Hawai Baptist improved to 5-1 in league play with a 56-27 win over Damien at Dan Liu Gymnasium.

Three Eagles hit for double digits, led by Sierra Ramos, who had 21 points and hit three three-pointers, both game-highs. Hailie Chock added 13 points and Sienna Lamblack 11, as Hawaii Baptist starters scored 51 of the teams 56 in the contest.

A 13-10 game in favor of the home team after the first quarter ballooned to a 30-14 gap as Hawaii Baptist outscored Damien 17-4 to close out the half.

The Monarchs, were led by Filinga Tuifua, who scored 16 points.
