Kaiser rallied from a 14-13 halftime deficit, scoring 21 unanswered points to post a 34-17 win over Kaimuki, keeping pace atop the OIA Division II standings.

The divisional standings feature a three-way tie for the top spot, with Kaiser, Castle and Roosevelt all owning 4-1 records. The previously unbeaten Knights were handed its first loss against Roosevelt, a team that the Cougars bested just a week prior.

Brady Kim scored the game's opening touchdown and Morgan White added a field goal to take a double digit lead in the opening quarter before Kaimuki countered with a pair of receiving scores from Ezekiel Kuie-Matias that bookended White's second field goal in the second, that made it a 14-13 game in favor of Kaimuki heading into the break.

From there it was all Cougars, who got two rushing scores from Mathias Mafi in the third quarter to make it 27-17, and put a cap on the contest with a pick-six by Tea Nuuhiwa-Santos.

Up next for Kaiser is a Homecoming game against Waialua, who suffered a stunning 15-13 loss to Kalani to drop to 3-2.
