Round three it is.

Kamehameha forced a winner-take-all playoff rematch with Punahou for a berth into the Division I state tournament with a hard fought, 19-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-22 win over previously unbeaten Buffanblu at Kekuhaupio Gymnasium Thursday night.

The Warriors avenged its only blemish in league play, a five-set defeat by the Buffanblu back on Sept 8, and the four-set win in the regular season finale also gave Kamehameha the benefit of hosting the rematch on Oct. 11, time to be determined.

Senior Adrianna Arquette had a double-double of 18 kills and 15 digs with five blocks to lead a trio of hitters that finished with double-digit kills.

Kamehameha took momentum of the match in the second set when they staved off set point multiple times with a 4-0 run to close the frame. An attack error by Punahou made the score 24-23 before back-to-back aces by Emma Lilo gave the Warriors the advantage to set up Arquette's set-ending kill.

Kaleinani Watson added 14 kills and Kamanaookalani Goldstein had 11 kills to round out the top attackers for the Warriors.

Haumea Marumoto had a match-high 21 kills to lead Punahou in the loss.
