Kamehameha scored early and often in a 51-7 win over Moanalua in a non-league contest held at Edward "Skippa" Diaz Stadium at Kusunoki Field.

The mercy rule shortened game was quite a different outcome from a season ago, where the game ended in a 21-all tie.

Moe Passi rushed for a game-high 121 yards and two scores, and Nainoa Melchor added 69 yards on the ground and three more scores, as the Warriors churned out 237 yards on the ground and 346 in total offense.

Kamehameha took to air a bit in the second, as Jevin Bolos-Reyes and Hazyn Botelho each chipped in a passing score, one to Kalai Bradley to open the quarter and the other to Ty Perkins late in the second.

The Warriors led 21-0 after the first quarter and 45-0 at the half.

Moanalua broke through for a third quarter score on a 76 yard pass play from Tayden-Evan Kaawa to Kama Corales, but the contest was well in hand by then.

Kain Tubania had a busy night, accounting for nine points, six via extra points and added a 33 yard field goal.
