The PAC-5 baseball team is still alive.

The Wolfpack extended their season with a 12-2 mercy-rule win over Maryknoll Monday afternoon at Patsy Mink Central Oahu Regional Park.

PAC-5 (4-12) earned its third win over the Spartans (5-11) this season as they advance to play top-seeded Kamehameha Tuesday at Ala Wai Park in the ILH Division I double-elimination tournament. Both teams will need a win to stay alive in the tourney. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.

Five different players registered hits for the Wolfpack, who broke open a 1-1 game after the first inning with nine runs across the next two frames.

Ezra Lee got the win on the mound in four innings of work, allowing just one earned run on 77 pitches. He also scored the most runs on offense with three.

Kory Chu took the pitching loss for the Spartans, who used five total pitchers in their season-ending loss and were limited to just three hits at the plate.
