Kahuku is going back to the 'ship.

The defending champion Red Raiders made quick work of Farrington, sweeping the match 25-12, 25-14 and 25-17, to reach the title game of the OIA Division I playoffs, where it will seek a second straight title.

Cha'lei Reid and Mao Lauhingoa had 24 combined kills, and Kahuku racked up nine service aces to just four in the match for Farrington.

The Red Raiders seized control early on in both sets one and two, but found the sledding a bit tougher in the final set, where the Governors led 8-7 at one point, then closed to 18-16 before Kahuku put the game away with a 5-1 scoring run.

Both teams will represent the OIA in next week's HHSAA Division I state tournament.
