Raiders top Warriors in four sets for first win in ILH play

Iolani earned its win of the ILH Division I girls volleyball season with a four-set win over Kamehameha Saturday afternoon at Kekuhaupio Gymnasium.

Set scores were 25-17, 25-21, 21-25 and 25-19.

Senna Roberts-Navarro put down 20 kills with two total blocks and Brooke Naniseni added 18 kills to lead the Raiders (1-1) at the pins.

Middle Mari Lawton added eight kills and three block assists and opposite Eryn Hiraki had seven kills with four total blocks to round out the top attackers.

Setter Maya Imoto-Eakin finished with a double-double of 48 assists and 10 digs with two aces and a solo block and libero Tessa Onaga stabilized the back row with a match-high 15 digs.

The Warriors (1-2) were led by their duo of 6-2 setters in Charlize Ching and Marley Roe, who each had 11 kills and at least 20 assists. Ching also posted a triple-double with 11 digs and had five aces, with four consecutive points at the service line to close out the third set.
