Roman Wilson didn't get very many opportunties to touch the football in Michigan's 56-10 rout of Hawaii, but he certainly made the most of them.

The former Saint Louis star had one reception for 42 yards and carried the ball once for 21 more, but both were taken to the house, in the Big House, for first half touchdowns, to set the tone for the Wolverines.

Starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy was a nearly perfect 11 of 12 passing for 229 yards and three scores, one to the aformentioned Wilson, and the other two to Ronnie Bell and Cornelius Johnson. Bell's six receptions for 76 yards led all pass catchers.

Michigan churned out 580 yards of total offense, and punched in five touchdowns on the ground. Blake Corum needed just nine carries to gain 88 yards and added a one yard TD plunge in the process.

Hawaii's lone bright spot came from running back Tylan Hines, who racked up 75 yards on eight carries, the bulk of which came on a 54 yard burst at the 11:27 mark of the fourth quarter that made the score 49-10.

The Rainbow Warriors' drought of a touchdown via the pass stretched to 12 straight quarters, and the 253 total yards gained on offense was the lowest output on the season by nearly triple digits.

Penei Pavihi continued his steady play for the Rainbow Warriors' defense, recording 12 total tackles in the loss.

The Rainbow Warriors will look to get into the win column next week when they play host to Duquesne back at TC Ching. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
