Balanced attack lifts Aiea to win over Woodinville

Aiea utilized a balanced offensive attack and its defense did the rest in a 38-14 win over Woodinville High School at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell, Washington.

Na Alii racked up 610 yards of total offense, 324 through the air and 286 on the ground in the road victory.

Kaimana Lale-Saole was a workhorse for Na Alii, carrying the ball 22 times for 178 yards and two first half touchdowns, as Aiea built a 17-7 lead at the half.

After the intermission, Aiea scored late in the third on a Geronimo Ulgaran plunge from two yards to extend the lead to 21-7, but the Falcons trimmed the lead back to 10 on a 32 yard scoring play from Tyler Jones to Andy Henry to close out the quarter.

In the fourth, Aiea put the game out of reach via two aerial scores, one from Ezekiel Olie to Jayden Chanel from 68 yards away and the other a toss from Noah Spencer to Ulgaran with just over four minutes left in the contest.

Na Alii held the Falcons to just 220 yards of total offense, and only 32 yards on the ground.
