Kahuku scored early and often in a 55-0 rout of Leilehua, as the fourth ranked Red Raiders improved to 3-0 on the season with a win at Hugh Yoshida Field.

Donaveyn Atuaia got the scoring started after recovering a fumble in the end zone with nine minutes left in the opening quarter, and padded the margin further with a 27 yard interception return for a score by Brock Fonoimoana at 7:43 mark still in the first.

The ground game added two more scores via a 28 yard run by Kainoa Carvalho followed by a one yard plunge by Kana Loa Kaluna with just over a minute in the first.

From there, the Red Raiders put up three more offensive scores, two on the ground and one in the air, an eight yard pass from Jason Mariteragi to Kealoha Kaio.

Carvalho capped the first half scoring with a 44 yard punt return for six that spotted Kahuku a 52-0 margin at the half.

Defensively, the Red Raiders held the Mules to just 36 yards of total offense.
