Aiea and Waipahu will meet for the league crown after coming away with victories Thursday night in the OIA D2 semifinals at Castle.

The Marauders (7-4 OIA West), the West's top seed in the six-team tournament, got things started with a 2-0 win over McKinley in the first semifinal. James Kaneshiro scored twice for Waipahu, with assists coming from Leland Juarez and Shawn DeSilva.

Na Alii (5-6-1) got the best of East top seed Castle in the second semifinal by a score of 3-1. Skye Ventura-Kahookele scored two goals and Reicen Crisostomo added another to lead Aiea. Trevor Morikawa scored the lone goal for the Knights.

The Marauders, who are trying for their second league crown and first since 2011, bested Aiea, 2-1, during the regular season.

Na Alii are seeking their third OIA title. They won back-to-back titles in 1992 and 1993.
