KANEOHE — Damien junior Logan Lauti ran for 175 yards and doubled his season rushing touchdown total by finding paydirt three times as the Monarchs slid through Castle, 26-10, Saturday evening at the Knights' home field in an Oahu Interscholastic Association-Interscholastic League of Honolulu Interleague Division I regular season finale showdown.

The Monarchs' season ends with a 5-3 ILH record and 5-4 overall. The lone ILH Division I postseason berth will go to Iolani (7-1) for having a better regular season record.

It's the fourth-straight year Damien has finished with a winning record, having won the last three ILH Division II league titles.

On the other side, Castle quarterback Tuli Punivai finished his sixth-straight game with his rushing total going over the century mark, carrying the ball 31 times for 107 yards. His season total of 986 yards puts him at No. 1 in the OIA Division I and No. 3 in D1 overall.

The Knights dropped their second consecutive game to fall to 4-6 overall but kept their league record intact at 4-3. Castle already clinched a berth for the four-team OIA Division I Playoffs and will play top-seeded Moanalua (7-0) on a date and time TBD.
