Pearl City jumped out to an early 36-0 lead after the first quarter of play and never looked back as it defeated Waialua, 64-0, Friday night at Bino Neves Stadium.

The Chargers held the Bulldogs to minus 15 yards of total offense to improve to 3-1 and 3-0 atop the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II standings.

Running back Makoa Cooper ran for 140 yards and four touchdowns on just seven carries in Pearl City's blowout win.

The Pearl City defense recorded four interceptions in the contest, which was highlighted by Kasey Kikuyama's 40-yard pick-six.
