Dominique Pacheco scored a game-high 18 points to lead Kamehameha-Hawaii to a 47-36 win over Saint Francis in a Snapple/HHSAA Division II Girls Basketball State Championships semifinal game at Kalani's Earl C. Homer Gym Friday afternoon.

The Warriors started the contest off hot, building a quick 12-2 lead and never took their foot off the gas.

A slew of Saint Francis turnovers allowed Kamehameha to score in transition early and often, which led to a 23-13 Warriors lead at halftime.

The Saints pulled within one off a Zayla Sismar-Evangelista 3-pointer with 2:40 remaining in the game but the Warriors were able to stay ahead with accurate free throw shooting down the stretch.

Pacheco hit on three of her seven 3-point attempts and was the only Warrior to score from beyond the arc. Saydee Aganus added 10 points and Taylor-James Sullivan tallied seven for KS-Hawaii.

Mata Sagapulutele led Saint Francis with 10 points and nine rebounds.

KS-Hawaii will face off against Mid-Pacific at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Neil S. Blaisdell Center for the Division II Girls Basketball State Championship.
