Punahou sends off seniors with 39-28 win over Sacred Hearts

Punahou ended the regular season on a high note with a 39-28 win over visiting Sacred Hearts on senior night in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I contest Thursday at Hemmeter Fieldhouse.

Five different players scored seven points or more to help the Buffanblu snap a four-game losing streak as they improved to 4-8 in league play.

Seniors Kamaile Kandiah and Elle Uyeda had eight points each while Abigail Aplaca, Lexie Taylor and Tanisha Elbourne had seven.

Sacred Hearts (0-11) was led by Te'Hiwa Medeiros, who had a game-high 10 points.
