D1 football semis moved to Friday at Mililani

The semifinals of the First Hawaiian Bank/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division Football State Championships has been rescheduled from Saturday, Nov. 12, to Friday, Nov. 11, the HHSAA announced.

Both games will be played at Mililani's John Kauinana Stadium. Leilehua will take on Mililani at 4:30 p.m. while Iolani and Campbell is slated to kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

Leilehua, who defeated top-seeded Hilo 26-25 in the quarterfinals, will be playing against the Trojans for the third time this season. Mililani defeated fourth-seeded Baldwin, 49-28 to advance to the semifinals.

Third-seeded Iolani made its way into the semifinals with a 17-14 win over Moanalua while second-seeded Campbell shutout Waiakea at home, 48-0 last Friday.

The Open Division semifinals will also be happening on the same day and time, but at Hawaiian Tel Federal Credit Union Field at Aloha Stadium.
