Kamehameha, Pearl City dominate at OIA-ILH crossover tourney


Kamehameha and Pearl City had four individual champions each to lead all schools at the Oahu Interscholastic Association-Interscholastic League of Honolulu Crossover Boys Wrestling Tournament Saturday.

A total of 94 varsity wrestlers competed in 145 matches at Kamehameha's Kunuiakea Gymnasium.

The Warriors and Chargers claimed first place in more than half of the 14 weight classes. Blaysen Terukina (113 pounds), Keith Correa (145), Jonah Hoshino (170) and Boman Tokioka (195) won their respective divisions for Kamehameha while Alex Ursua (126), Blake Cooper (160), Jackson Fuamatu (220) and Jordan Fuamatu (285) paced Pearl City. Kaiser had two winners in Chance Ikei (120) and Keao Skeele (138).

Other individual titlists were Saint Louis' Cody Cabanban (106), Roosevelt's Bishop Moore (132), Kalaheo's Jacob Solomon (152) and Kahuku's Jess Kanongataa (182).
