With the OIA playoffs around the corner, Moanalua (10-1) defeated Castle (1-10) on senior night. The Knights were up briefly 8-6 in the first quarter but Moanalua quickly regained the lead. The margin was ten at the end of one, 18-8, and Na Menehune extended the lead to 31-13 at the break. Castle had trouble with Moanaluaʻs pressure defense, depth and speed. The final was 59-29 with reserves seeing a lot of action.

Moanaluaʻs scoring leaders were Ola Brown with 17 and Kahanu Puʻulei-Auld with 10.  For Castle, Joseph Lilio had nine points.

Reflecting on his seniors, Moanaluaʻs Coach Greg Tacon: "The coaches and I were talking about it before the game about how much we enjoyed this yearʻs group. Itʻs a good mix we really like working with. Theyʻre really receptive to coaching, instruction and advice, and it shows the way we play. But we want to do more, and it starts with three good practices getting ready for Saturday."
