1. Punahou (9-0)

The three-time Interscholastic League of Honolulu-champion Buffanblu drew the top overall seed in the First Hawaiian Bank/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division I State Championships, which get underway this week. Punahou will have a first-round bye and play the winner of Friday's Farrington-Baldwin matchup on Nov. 15 in a semifinal game at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium. The Buffanblu have played just twice since Oct. 11.

2. Mililani (10-1)

The Trojans won their second Oahu Interscholastic Association Red Conference championship in four seasons with their rout of Farrington Friday. Quarterback McKenzie Milton threw a touchdown pass, ran for another and caught a touchdown pass while running back Vavae Malepeai rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown in the win. Mililani, the No. 2 seed in the D1 state tournament, has a bye this week and will play the winner of Campbell-Hilo.

3. Kamehameha (9-2)

The Warriors saw their season end on Oct. 25 with their 38-12 loss to top-ranked Punahou in the ILH Postseason final. Kamehameha rushed for a state-leading 2,569 yards (6.4 per rush). Running backs Kainoa Simao (162 rush-1,218 yes-11 TDs) and Brandon Kahookele (113-780-6) rank third and eighth in the state, respectively, in rushing yards. The Warriors outscored their opponents by 211 points in their 11 games this season.

4. Saint Louis (6-3)

The Crusaders ended their season back with a 34-28 loss to Kamehameha in an ILH Postseason semifinal back on Oct. 19. Coach Matt Wright's season season at Kalaepohaku started 2-0 with wins over Baldwin and Kahuku, but regular-season losses to Kamehameha and Punahou put Saint Louis in third-place in the ILH D1 race. The Crusaders rank fourth in the state in team total offense with 3,576 yards and 44 touchdowns.

5. Farrington (8-3)

This week: vs. Baldwin Friday (OC16)

The Governors allowed 37 straight points and 341 yards of total offense to Mililani in the OIA Red title game last week. Farrington managed just 183 yards offensively and gave up 228 rushing yards by the Trojans. Linebacker Aaron Kesi scored the Govs' only touchdown on a 72-yard fumble return in the fourth quarter. Farrington travels to Maui for a first-round game against Maui Interscholastic League-champ Baldwin Friday at 6 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium.

6. Campbell (8-3)

The Sabers extended their season at least another week with their win over two-time D1 state champion Kahuku in the OIA Red third-place game last week. Quarterback Isaac Hurd ran in three touchdowns, threw a TD pass and caught a two-point conversion pass in the win. Campbell, which will be making its D1 state-tournament debut this week, travels to the Big Island for a first-round game against Big Island Interscholastic Federation winner Hilo Friday.

7. Kahuku (6-5)

The Red Raiders saw their season come to a close with their loss to Campbell Saturday. Kahuku was held to a slim 67 rushing yards (2.3 yards per rush) and turned it over on three interceptions, two of which led to Sabers' touchdowns. Quarterback Tuli Wily-Matagi attempted a season-high 44 passes ? more than double his previous single-game high of 20 against Mililani a week earlier, but completed just 16 of them for 143 yards.

8. Waianae (7-3)

The season ended a few weeks back for the Seariders, who finished third in the OIA Red West Conference this year. Waianae beat Castle, 37-7, in a first-round game, but lost to Kahuku, 45-20, a week later in their season finale. It was the third consecutive season that the Seariders' season ended with a quarterfinal loss at Kahuku. Running backs Mahvan Tau (65 rush-420 yards-4 TDs) and Jemery Willes (74-321-1) both finished in the top 10 in the OIA Red in rushing.

9. Kapolei (6-4)

The Hurricanes finished fourth in the wild Red West this season. They defeated Kailua, 42-27, in the first round of the OIA Red Tournament before closing their season with a 17-10 loss to Farrington. The defense held opponents to just under 20 points per game. Two of the standouts on defense ? linebacker Kingston Fernandez and defensive lineman Kalani Vakameilalo were recently offered scholarships by Arizona State, according to coach Darren Hernandez.

10. Leilehua (6-4)

The Mules began the season 3-0, but lost three of their next four games to finish 3-3 in the Red West, good for fifth place. Leilehua, which played its final five games of 2013 on the road, beat Moanalua in a first-round game of the OIA Red Tournament, 54-17, but lost to rival Mililani, 21-9, the following week in the quarterfinal round. The Mules are second in the state in scoring offense with 372 points (38 per game) and sixth in total offense with 3,428 yards (342.8 per game).
