Kipona Ah Sui scored the game-winning basket as time expired to lift Nanakuli past Radford, 37-35, in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division contest at James Alegre Gymnasium Saturday night.
With the win the Golden Hawks improved to 6-2 in the regular season and moved into a tie for second place with Mililani in the OIA Division I West standings with two games left before the playoffs.
Leading Nanakuli in scoring was senior guard Alana Nuuanu, who had 15 points and one made 3-pointer.
The Rams, who dropped to 5-2 in league play, were led by Natalie Jackson's 22 points.
