Low to host hoops camp


Former Iolani and Washington State University guard Derrick Low will host the 1st Annual Kickoff Basketball Camp on Saturday, July 30 at Iolani School.

The camp runs from 2 to 5:30 p.m. and is open to girls and boys ages 8 to 17 at a fee of $130 per participant. The fee includes a shirt. Register online at proformancehawaii.com. The deadline to register is July 27.

Low was a three-time Gatorade State Player of the Year and a four-time Interscholastic League of Honolulu Player of the Year. He was twice selected to the All-Pac-10 Conference team at Washington State before an eight-year professional career that included stints in Australia, France, Lithuania, Ukraine, Turkey and Romania.
