WAIPAHU - Chantay Samante scored a season-high 26 points and Campbell rolled to a 71-61 win against Waipahu Thursday night in O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red West basketball.

Cassie Ernst added 17 and Kealohilani Akiyama scored 10 to help the Sabers (7-2) remain in second place in the division with three to play, including against first-place and unbeaten Kapolei on Dec. 30. Both teams are assured of finishing in the top five in the division, thus clinching berths to the OIA Red tournament.

Angie Siamanu and Ana Batan scored 15 and 14 points, respectively, for Waipahu (3-8).
