It will be PAC-5 and Kamehameha-Hawaii battling it out for the Division II title in the Motiv8 Foundation/HHSAA girls soccer state championships.

The Wolfpack will be gunning for a third straight state crown after shutting out top seeded Kauai, 3-0, while the Warriors reached their first state final since 2019 with a 1-0 win over Kapaa, keeping the Kauai Interscholastic Federation from having a representative in the D2 final for a fourth consecutive time.

Ashlyn Dowda-Gates opened the scoring up for PAC-5 with a goal just nine minutes into the contest and Solala Nasu scored twice, once in the 22nd minute and again in the 59th.

In the first semifinal final of the afternoon, the Warriors got their lone goal in the 28th minute from Callie Chong, and held the Kapaa without a goal for only the second time this season.

A season ago, the Wolfpack and Warriors actually faced off in the quarterfinals of the D2 tourney, with PAC-5 defeating Kamehameha-Hawaii, then the top-seed in the field, 2-0, on goals by Rissa Hara and Dowda-Gates.
