Mid-Pacific clips HBA in straight sets

Eight different players registered a kill as Mid-Pacific took care of host Hawaii Baptist in straight sets, 25-16, 25-15, Tuesday night in an ILH Division II contest at Dan Liu Gymnasium.

Kaehu Keala led the way with a match-high 11 kills and three blocks to help the Owls improve to 2-0 in league play. Alyssa Muraoka was also key with 10 assists, five digs and five kills 

The Eagles, who gave up a 11-0 run to start set two, suffered their first loss in the regular season and dropped to 2-1.

Riyana Werney had six kills to lead HBA in the loss.
