Kalani used a strong fourth quarter to pull away form Le Jardin, 51-38, in the opening round of the Snapple/HHSAA Division II state tournament Wednesday night at Saint Francis' Gymnasium.

The Falcons outscored the Bulldogs, 18 to 8, in the fourth quarter, to advance to meet Seabury Hall in the semifinals. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. Thursday night at Kalani's home court.

Jaemi Harris had 10 points and five rebounds to lead Kalani in the win.

The Bulldogs were led by Jerry Lawson's 15 points and nine rebounds and Dominic Venezia's 12 points and 10 boards.
