Capllonch, a 5-foot-7 sophomore outside hitter, recorded her second straight 18 kill performance to power the Monarchs in a 25-14, 25-14, 28-26 quarterfinal win over the Wildcats at Saint Francis' Gymnasium.

Damien, the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II third-place team, moves on to take on league runner-up Le Jardin in a 5 p.m. semifinal game at Kaimuki Friday.

Konawaena, the Big Island Interscholastic Federation Division II champ, was led by senior Celena Jane Molina in the loss. Molina had a solid all-around game with 14 assists, 15 digs, seven kills, three aces and a solo block.
