Pure skills camp set on Oahu for August 6-7


NBA & College Basketball Trainer, Matthew Conboy of Pure Advantage Basketball will hold a 2 day Basketball Camp for Advanced Players at Aiea District Park Gymnasium.

The camp will run from 9:00am - 12:00pm on Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7.  The cost to attend is $125.00.

There are limited spots and the camp is available to male and female players, ages 10 - college who are advanced for their age.  

This is a speciality ADVANCED camp for players looking to take their game to the next level through intense skills training and game IQ situational training.  ALL players will be challenged mentally and physically.  Every player will be given a written evaluation and workout plan from Matt Conboy.  "I am returning from training at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, looking forward to covering new drills and skills for players looking to take their game to the next level! -Matthew Conboy

Matt Conboy is one of the top professional basketball trainers in the world. He has owned and operated Pure Advantage Basketball Training since 2006. Matt trains 3rd grade-college and professional male and female players year round in Vancouver, WA. In addition to the one on one, small group, and team training, Matt trains internationally. He has been invited and trained at the: Nike Skills Clinics, John Lucas National Exposure Events, EOT Clinics, Pure Sweat Basketball Clinics, and the LS De Matha, Bishop Gordan, and Mater Dei Clinics. He has also attended the Ganon Baker Certification Class.

Matt's passion, enthusiasm, and innovative training techniques leave a lasting impression on every player and coach he works with. Matt has trained over 500 of the top college and now professional players like: Derek Raivio (Gonzaga/Japan), Ashley Corral (USC/WNBA), Heather Corral (UW), Talia Caldwell (Cal, Poland), Dane Kuiper (Corona Del Sol High School, UNM, Dale Marie Cumberbach (Edmonton, Luxembourg), Dan Dickau (Gonzaga/retired 6 years NBA). Matt graduated from college in 2005 from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, where he was an All-American.
