EWA BEACH - Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele passed for four touchdowns and 255 yards and No. 3 Campbell downed visiting Waianae, 41-0, Saturday in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Open Division tournament first-round game.
The Sabers (8-2) will travel to No. 2 Mililani (8-1) in a semifinal next Saturday night.
Sagapolutele completed 14 of 20 passes with TD strikes of 19 yards to Zayden Alviar-Costa, 14 yards to Tainoa Lave, 15 yards to Rowen-Ray Bucao and 8 yards to Rusten Bang.
Campbell scored on its first three series of the game - the second coming on a 13-yard run by James Steffany-Fiame. The Sabers also scored on a 5-yard blocked punt return by Marlon Baker.
Campbell took a 34-0 lead into the half and scored on its first series to start the second half on Sagapolutele's fourth TD pass of the game. The score initiated the mercy-rule running clock.
The Campbell defense registered eight sacks, two by Zechariah Alualu-Tuiolemotu, who was in on three total sacks, as two of them were half-sacks with Fale Timoteo.
The Seariders' season ends at 1-8.
The game was played during the day because of light issues at Campbell's stadium.
The winner of the semifinals advances to the OIA Open championship with the loser to play for third place and last state tournament berth.
