Home runs and solid pitching was the recipe for success for Kamehameha Wednesday afternoon.

The Warriors took care of Castle, 4-0, to advance out of the opening round of the Wally Yonamine Foundation Division I Baseball Championships at Iron Maehara Stadium.

Evan Elarionoff hit a solo shot over the left-center fence to give Kamehameha a 1-0 lead in the third inning and Dante Park hit a two-run homer in the sixth to power the Warriors' offense.

Javyn Pimental earned the win for Kamehameha while Kelena Sauer put in two innings of relief work. The duo combined for 10 strikeouts while giving up two hits apiece.

Kamehameha moves on to face OIA champion Mililani Thursday in a 10:45 a.m. quarterfinal.
